Speaking to the media recently, Jiiva said that the producer of the film, Dato Abdul Malik of Malik Streams Corporation, plans to release it this summer. The actor also revealed that Siva Manasula Sakthi will have a rerelease as part of promotions for Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan, and that his upcoming film's trailer will be out soon.

Also starring Anuya Bhagwat, the love story Siva Manasula Sakthi marked the directorial debut of M Rajesh. The filmmaker is also known for Boss Engira Bhaskaran, starring Arya and Nayanthara; Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, starring Udhayanidhi Stalin and Hansika Motwani; and All in All Azhagu Raja, featuring Karthi, Prabhu and Kajal Aggarwal.

Coming back to Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan, the film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by M Sukumar and editing by Ashish Joseph. In a recently released promo for the film, the filmmaker teased a story where Jiiva's character goes through a transformative journey thanks to the impact of his love life. Jiiva can now be seen in theatres in Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil, directed by Nithish Sahadev of Falimy fame. Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil has been declared as a Pongal winner by audiences. On the other hand, M Rajesh's last feature film as a director is 2024's Brother, starring Ravi Mohan, Natty, Priyanka Mohan, and Bhumika Chawla.

Jiiva also acted in a long-delayed madcap comedy, which is similar to Sundar C's Madha Gaja Raja.
