On the eve of Vaa Vaathiyaar's release, music composer Santhosh Narayanan took to social media to pen a note on the film. Directed by Nalan Kumarasamy and headlined by Karthi, the film is set to release on January 14.

Taking to his X handle, the music composer wrote, "Vaa Vaathiyar was such an emotional ride for me musically celebrating the legends MSV ayya and MGR ayya. We have poured our hearts out. Hope you all like it. As always, tell everyone if you liked the film. We need support more than ever .... Enjoy the mass of MGR in theaters!"

Santhosh Narayanan reunites with Nalan Kumarasamy for Vaa Vaathiyaar after Soodhu Kavvum (2013) and Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum (2016).
