Singer Kenishaa Francis, who is speculated to be in a relationship with actor Ravi Mohan, recently made an interesting comment about the actor's latest film Parasakthi, also starring Sivakarthikeyan, Sreeleela, and Atharvaa. Speaking to the media after watching the film earlier today, the singer said, "Whether he (Ravi) plays a hero or a villain, the movie would run in theatres only because of him." Kenishaa also suggested that she does not think a bigger actor is part of the film. Ravi Mohan plays the antagonist in the film, directed by Sudha Kongara. Kenishaa said that he has worked hard for the role for six months. "After watching the film, I get the impression that the film has been made just for him," Kenishaa said.

"Evergreen, ever best. He is Number One in this movie," the singer added about Ravi Mohan.

Kenishaa Francis did admit that she found it difficult to watch Ravi in the villain role at the start of the film before adding that, in the second half, "there is nothing beyond" his character in it.

The singer also weighed in on the long delay in the film's censorship clearance. "I think we have to respect the government and the law. None of us are working against the law. They are right in their own way and the creators are right in their own way. But there is always a gap of understanding about who is right and who is wrong," she said about the censorship debate. She also went on to add, "However, we have the certificate now and the movie is out in theatres and people are enjoying it. RM (short for Ravi Mohan) is great in it, and nothing else matters," Kenishaa said.

The singer also echoed Ravi Mohan's sentiment about Jana Nayagan's postponement by saying that Pongal would truly start only when Vijay's film hits theatres.
