Opening up about her memories of the Jana Nayagan shoot, Monisha Blessy reflects on her time on the sets, speaking on the MPower by Maathevan channel. "It was a surprise to know that I got an opportunity," said Monisha, who revealed that she got the news during the shoot of the Rajinikanth-starrer Coolie. She also said she could not believe herself when she got the role in Jana Nayagan, Vijay's final film.

"During the Jana Nayagan's pooja ceremony, Vijay sir shook hands with me, and I was completely shocked. I always wondered if this was a dream or something," said the actor. She said that she dreamt of taking a photo with Vijay once. "After a while, I looked at the picture again; I couldn't hold back my tears," said Monisha, adding that even her parents were equally thrilled clicking the picture.

She revealed her happiest moment on set was when Vijay came and watched her performance of a mime video through her phone, adding that he told her how much he enjoyed watching the video. Monisha described the moment as one of the biggest highlights on the sets of the Jana Nayagan shooting.

Also starring Pooja Hegde and Bobby Deol in the lead roles, Jana Nayagan is written and directed by H Vinoth. The technical crew includes Anirudh Ravichander as a music composer, Sathyan Sooryan as cinematographer and Pradeep E Ragav as editor.
