Director Rathna Kumar took to social media to share a quote on justice. The post came after the Madras High Court held a hearing for an appeal filed on behalf of Jana Nayagan's producers, KVN Productions, after the CBFC ordered a relook into the film's certification.

Taking to his X handle, the director shared a quote, which read, "The worst form of injustice is pretended justice." The quote was attributed to Plato.

The director also reposted director Ajay Gnanamuthu's post, which condemned the 'misuse of power'.

Jana Nayagan is Vijay's last film before he retires from acting, for a career in politics. Directed by H Vinoth, the film also stars Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, and Bobby Deol, among others. The film is currently set to release on January 9, but reports are emerging that the film's release can be postponed.
