GV Prakash has been having a busy time fulfilling his responsibilities both as an actor and as a composer. Recently, we reported about him being attached as a music director to Suriya 46, directed by Venky Atluri. Earlier this Sunday, the composer dropped an update about the project.

Taking to X, GV Prakash wrote, "Cooking for S46," followed by three fire emoticons. He added, "We are coming soon baby," to his post, tagging Suriya and Venky Atluri. The music director also promised further updates in the near future. In a subsequent post, he added further buzz to his statement by writing, "Something beautiful is coming from S46 soon."

The film, tentatively titled Suriya 46, brings GV Prakash back together with Venky Atluri after collaborations on 2023's Vaathi, starring Dhanush and Samyuktha, and the subsequent year's Lucky Baskhar, featuring Dulquer Salmaan in the lead. It also reunites him with Suriya after 2020's Soorarai Pottru.

Mamitha Baiju also stars in the film, opposite Suriya. Recently, the film's producer Naga Vamsi told Gulte that it "explores relationships, love and emotions between a 45-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman." The filmmaker also likened Suriya's character in the film to the actor's own Sanjay Ramaswamy from 2005's Ghajini—a rich businessman who falls for a talkative woman (Asin), oblivious to his status.

Earlier, Venky Atluri described Suriya's 46th film as a family drama exploring plenty of human emotions. It is going to be interesting to see how GV Prakash will compose music for the film, also starring Bhavani Sre, Radikaa Sarathkumar and Raveena Tandon. Last May, he said that the project would be 'special' for him.

Meanwhile, GV Prakash also has multiple projects as an actor, including Happy Raj with Gouri Priya, Mental Manadhil with Madhuri Jain, and Immortal with Kayadu Lohar. He is also attached as a composer to the Ajith Kumar documentary, which is being directed by AL Vijay.
