Director Ram praises Raju Murugan-Sasikumar's My Lord

Director Ram appreciates Raju Murugan and Sasikumar for their recent release, My Lord

My Lord, written and directed by Raju Murugan, hit theatres on Feb 13, Friday. Through a video, Director Ram congratulated the team behind My Lord for their work on the film. He commended Raju Murugan's creation, and said, ''This is a story about a man at the top of power and a man at the bottom of the abyss, far removed from the top of power: A Raju Murugan's bold creation.''

The director spoke about Sasikumar's career choices and said, ''After Ayothi (2023), there have been transformations in the films that Sasikumar chooses to work in. The transformation has made him a member of every family in Tamil Nadu.''

The cast of the film includes Guru Somasundaram, Asha Sharath, Jaya Prakash. On the technical front, Sean Roldan has composed the film’s music, and he has received much appreciation for his work as well.

According to the data tracker Sacnilk, the film gained Rs 2.37 crore from theatres worldwide over the first eight days of its release.

Director Ram has helmed critically acclaimed films such as Kattradhu Thamizh (2007), Peranbu (2019), Thanga Meengal (2013), and Paranthu Po (2025).
