As actor Sivakarthikeyan turned 41 on Tuesday, wishes poured in for him from notable personalities from the film industry and politics. The actor, who will next be seen in Seyon, penned a note thanking all who wished him, including his fans.
In his note, he thanked actor-politician Kamal Haasan, Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) supremo Thol. Thirumavalavan, Naam Tamil Katchi (NTK) convenor Seeman, and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Annamalai. He then went on to thank colleagues from the film fraternity, media outlets and fans.
In the note, he also expressed excitement in teaming up with Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI) for Seyon, directed by Sivakumar Murugesan, who will make his debut with the soon-to-be-released film Thaai Kizhavi. He praised the filmmaker for being committed to "telling rooted and people-centric stories". He also said he is thrilled to be collaborating with Santhosh Narayanan for the first time.
Sivakarthikeyan was recently seen in Parasakthi, his 25th film. The Sudha Kongara directorial starred him opposite Sreeleela, Atharvaa and Ravi Mohan. The actor has projects with Venkat Prabhu and Cibi Chakravarthy in the pipeline.
