GV Prakash breaks into a happy dance as Sri Gouri Priya proposes marriage in 'Aadiney Irupen', the first single from Happy Raj. The makers unveiled the song on Tuesday. Composed by Justin Prabhakaran, Bigg Boss fame Gana Vinoth has written the verses and rendered the song. The song famously takes on the Tamil meme video, in which a young man steps out of the theatre and says, "Aadiney irupen," as he shares his review of a film.

Also starring Abbas and George Maryam in lead roles, Happy Raj is helmed by debut director Maria Raja Elanchezian. The film wrapped shooting back in January. The film also stars Geetha Kailasam, Madurai Muthu, Adhirchi Arun, and Devi Mahesh, among others.

In an earlier conversation with CE, director Maria Raja, a former assistant of Pradeep Ranganathan, opened up about choosing GV Prakash to play the protagonist. "It has been a while since he played such a character in a comedy zone. I want the same energy that GV Prakash brought to Trisha Illana Nayanthara for this film," he said.

The film is produced by Jayavardhanan and co-produced by Jaikanth Suresh. Apart from music by Justin Prabhakaran, Happy Raj will feature cinematography by Madhan Christopher, editing by Selva RK and art direction by Kumar Gangappan. A release date for the film is yet to be announced by the makers.
