Music composer Santhosh Narayanan, who is teaming up with Sivakarthikeyan for the first time in Seyon, has shared a post on joining the film and has also teased the lyrics of what could be a song from the film.

Santhosh, in his X handle, wrote, "After 24 years of friendship and creating art without any expectations together as innocent college kids and after a worthy wait, I am proud and happy for you Siva (Sivakarthikeyan) and even more so to work on this film with the most passionate Kamal Haasan's sir’s team. I will support you guys with all my heart." He ended the post with two Tamil lines, "Marugi Ninna Manakkuraya Theethu Vaikkum Maayonae, Mazhaiya Vizhundhu Nelaththa Sezhikka Veiyi Seyone" (On praying fervently, you remove all depression, oh Mayone! now come fall as rain and make the soil fertile, oh Seyone!).

On Monday, it was announced that Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI) will reunite with Sivakarthikeyan after Amaran (2024) in Seyon, directed by Sivakumar Murugesan. The film marks the director's sophomore film after his soon-to-be-released film Thaai Kizhavi, starring Radikaa Sarathkumar and produced by Sivakarthikeyan's Sivakarthikeyan Productions.

Sivakarthikeyan was recently seen in Parasakthi, his 25th film. The Sudha Kongara directorial starred him opposite Sreeleela, Atharvaa and Ravi Mohan. The actor has projects with Venkat Prabhu and Cibi Chakravarthy in the pipeline.

Kamal, as an actor, last seen in Mani Ratnam's Thug Life, will next appear in stunt choreographers Anbariv's directorial debut, tentatively titled KH 237. As a producer, he is backing Rajinikanth's Thalaivar 173, directed by Cibi Chakravarthy.
