Lucky Trailer: GV Prakash is on a mission to unite a charming dog and its companion

The trailer for GV Prakash's upcoming film Lucky The Superstar for JioHotstar was unveiled by the streaming platform on Friday and shows the actor-composer determined to save a pet dog before corrupt politicians take ownership of it. Directed by Uday Mahesh, Lucky is scheduled to hit JioHotstar on February 20.

The nearly two-minute-long trailer opens with the voiceovers of Kovai Sarala, Rajendran and Thambi Ramaiah, who give characters to three street dogs in which one of them mourns the loss of her child pup. The scene then cuts to a family adopting the pup and naming him 'Lucky' unknown of its secret powers to give massive luck to those who have him. When Lucky goes missing and a few politicians find him and discover his ability, they plan to use him for their political gains. Amidst all this chaos is GV Prakash and Anaswara Rajan who are on a mission to save Lucky and bring him back home before things go awry.

The upcoming series also stars Meghna Sumesh, Elango Kumaravel, Udhay Mahesh and Devadarshini in key roles. It is produced by Kandasamy and Pushpa Kandasamy.
