After a long delay, Andrea Jeremiah's adventure-thriller film Kaa – The Forest has finally secured a theatrical release. Sharing a new motion poster, the makers had announced that the film will hit the big screens on February 13, ahead of Valentine's Day.

Kaa was launched back in 2018 and was extensively shot amidst thick forests. The film, written and directed by Nanjil, has been backed by John Max under the Shalom Studios banner. Late actor Salim Ghouse plays the antagonist in Kaa. It also stars the late Marimuthu, Kamalesh, Akshita, Naveen, Moonar Subramanian and Arjun Singh in key roles.

The film was delayed for over six years owing to financial issues and secured a release in March 2024. However, it was postponed once again. It marks Ghouse's final film and posthumous appearance.

Sundar C Babu is the film's music composer. Kaa will also feature cinematography by Arivazhagan and editing by Elisa.

Andrea was last seen in Mask alongside Kavin, directed by debutant Vikarnan Ashok. She is also awaiting the release of other long-delayed films which include Mysskin's Pisaasu II and Manushi.
