Last starred in Diesel, Harish Kalyan was announced to have joined Vineeth Varaprasad for the upcoming film titled Dashamakan. While the filming of Dashamakan is still underway, speculations about his next project have begun surfacing on social media.

Rumour mills suggest that Harish Kalyan will next work on a project written by writer and author Thamizh Prabha. He has been a part of films such as Sarpatta Parambarai (2021), Blue Star (2024), Thangalaan, Sorgavaasal, and Kaantha (2025).

What is giving more gravitas to these rumours is that Harish Kalyan is getting credit for taking the time to select good scripts in recent times.

As far as Dashamakan is concerned, the earlier released glimpse suggests that the film is centred on the Dashamakan area of Chennai, and the protagonist, played by Harish Kalyan, gets involved in a bloody duel.

Dashamakan stars Preity Mukhundhan as the female lead, along with Sathyaraj and Sunil in supporting roles.

Apart from writing and directing, Vineeth Varaprasad is also backing the film. On the technical crew, Dashamakan has music by Britto Michael, cinematography by Karthik Ashokan and editing by G Madan. Besides Tamil, the film will also be released in Telugu. A release date for the film is yet to be revealed.
