Hi box office day 2: The opening weekend for the Nayanthara-backed romantic-comedy Hi is becoming profitable for the film as box office collections rise. Hi is backed by Nayanthara and her husband, director Vignesh Shivan under their Rowdy Pictures banner, along with SS Lalit Kumar who is backing under his Seven Screen Studio banner.

According to box office tracker Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 2.15 crores (nett) and Rs 2.5 crores (gross) on the second day of its theatrical run. Hi collected Rs 1.25 crores (nett) and Rs 1.44 crores (gross) on its opening day. The total collection of the film at the Indian box office is Rs 3.40 crores (nett) and Rs 3.94 crores (gross), in the first two days of its theatrical run.

Vishnu Edavan, who has worked as a lyricist and an assistant director under Lokesh Kanagaraj, made his debut as a director with Hi.

Radikaa Sarathkumar, Prabhu, VTV Ganesh, Sathyan, Amrutha Srinivasan, Aadhithya Kadhir, Kureshi, FEFSI Vijayan, Renji Panicker, Kaviya Arivumani, and Mirchy Kemy, among others.

Jen Martin has composed music for Hi, continuing his collaboration with Kavin after Dada (2023) and Kiss (2025). The crew of Hi also includes director of photography Rajesh Shukla, editor Philomin Raj, art director Kannan S, and stunt choreographer Dinesh Kasi.
