The official trailer of the GV Prakash Kumar-starrer Immortal was unveiled by actor Dhanush on social media. The upcoming film, which also features Kayadu Lohar in the lead, is set to release on September 4.

Immortal is written and directed by Mariyappan Chinna. The trailer opens with a couple from another time convening around a bonfire, when it immediately shifts to the story of GV Prakash and Kayadu's characters. GV Prakash is shown to hunt for houses when he happens upon Kayadu Lohar's character who is shown to find roommates to share. As the pair move in together, it becomes a dream tale for GV Prakash's character, when it turns into a nightmare.

The cast of the film also includes TM Karthik, Kumar Natarajan, Lollu Sabha Maaran, Aaditya Kathir, Arshu Maharjan, Pema Tsamchoe, Sunita Shrestha, among others.

Sam CS has composed music for the film, which features lyrics by the composer himself alongside Shalli C, Sharanya Gopinath, Tamizh Aadhavan, Sathyan Illanko, Na Idhaya. The rest of the crew includes director of photography Arun Radhakrishnan, editor Rajesh M, art director Siva Sankar, and stunt choreographers R Sakthi Saravanan and GN Murugan.
