AR Rahman's son Ameen's car involved in accident, escapes with minor injuries

Ameen and the others involved in the accident escaped with minor injuries

Noted music composer AR Rahman's son, AR Ameen, was involved in a car accident near the Kathipara flyover in Guindy, Chennai.

According to reports, the car carrying Ameen and his friend was travelling from Koyambedu when it collided with a vehicle coming from the opposite direction.

Ameen and the others involved in the accident escaped with minor injuries. No major injuries have been reported so far.

Further details regarding the incident are awaited as police officials are investigating the accident.

On the work front, AR Ameen last worked on the Tamil dub of 'Chikiri Chikiri' from Ram Charan's Peddi and also sang an independent single 'Bheegi Bheegi' with Jasleen Royal featuring Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur.

Meanwhile, AR Rahman had three releases this year - the festival film Gandhi Talks which released directly on Zee5, Ram Charan's Peddi and Imtiaz Ali's Main Vaapas Aaunga. Up next, he has a list of much-anticipated films including Ramayana: Part 1 and 2, and Batwara 1947, Moon Walk and an Dhanush-Mari Selvaraj's untitled project.
