Months after being stuck in a legal battle over its title, Ravi Mohan's upcoming film Bro Code has undergone a name change. Directed by Karthik Yogi (Dikkiloona and Vadakkupatti Ramasamy) and backed by Ravi's own production house Ravi Mohan Studios, the film has now been titled Bro Club.
In a recent interview with Cinema Vikatan, Ravi Mohan revealed the new name for the first time, hinting that he changed the title to avoid further issues. "I don't like problems...," said the actor, who was then interjected by Yogi Babu who laughingly replied, "Since they are all a club, he has finalised the title." Ravi further went on to share that the film has completed two schedules with two more remaining to be done, with shooting set to take place on a few foreign locations. "The film is progressing well. It is the first time SJ Surya and I are sharing an equation in the film. He is a man with a golden heart and a fun person," he added.
For the unversed, Bro Code faced a long drawn legal battle following a trademark dispute with the alcoholic beverage brand of the same name. The legal tussle involved conflicting rulings between the Madras High Court and the Delhi High Court before ending in a settlement.
Announced in August 2025, Bro Club is Ravi Mohan's debut production venture. Besides Ravi Mohan and SJ Suryah, the film also stars noted Malayalam actor Arjun Ashokan, who is making his debut in Tamil with this film. There are three female leads in the film namely - Shraddha Srinath, Sri Gouri Priya and Malavika Manoj. The rest of the cast includes Upendra Limaye and Aishwarya Raj.
The first promo, which was released during the time, hinted at a story of three men who are unhappy with their respective partners. They bond over their shared unhappiness in their relationship.
Bro Code's technical crew includes composer Harshavardhan Rameshwar of Animal and Arjun Reddy fame, cinematographer Kalaiselvan Sivaji, known for Por Thozhil, and editor Pradeep E Ragav. Costume designer Ruchi Munoth, art director Rajesh A, and stunt choreographer Mahesh Mathew are also a part of the crew.
