Actor Ravi Mohan is gearing up for the release of his first film as a director, titled An Ordinary Man, starring Yogi Babu in the lead role. Earlier this Sunday, Ravi revealed that he has shown a small portion of his film to his family and that they have expressed their appreciation for it. "Met my fam last night and showed them a glimpse of the movie and music from my Directorial Debut : An Ordinary Man, coming to you soon with all my heart. And how my fam cheered for me, especially appa.. is what I pray every child in this world receives from their parents. Grateful that God is winning," shared the actor.
Ravi Mohan also shared a photograph featuring him with his parents and a video in which he can be seen dancing in joy. The actor's post comes amidst ongoing discourse over his personal life, especially the legal proceedings concerning his separation from Aarti Ravi.
After his recent breakup with singer-girlfriend Keneeshaa Francis, the actor revealed that his films would not release until his divorce is formalised, and he set off on a spiritual sojourn to Sabarimala.
Coming back to An Ordinary Man, the film is also produced by Ravi himself under his recently launched banner. The film commenced production in March this year. It marks the sophomore production venture of Ravi Mohan Studios, the first one being the still-in-production film that is previously titled Bro Code. Directed by Ravi Mohan from his own screenplay, the film has cinematographer Jay Charola, composer Hydro, editor Pradeep E Ragav, and production designer Shanmuga Raja.
Ravi's upcoming films also include the long-delayed Genie and Karathey Babu, which recently wrapped production.
