Bose Venkat has an official family with four kids and an unofficial family with a daughter in the trailer of Brothers and Sisters. The JioHotstar series is directed by Chidambaram Manivannan, who is known for the Vera Maari Office and Vera Maari Love Story series.

The trailer introduces all of Bose Venkat's children: The oldest daughter is a plainspoken lawyer, and the second one is an IT employee, while the third daughter seems to be a clumsy budding cricketer. We are also introduced to his son, the fourth in the family, who appears to be happy-go-lucky. The son then overhears his father speaking with his extramarital partner and illegitimate child on the phone and breaks the news to his siblings, which seems to start the action in this comedy series.

The series also stars Gayathri Shastry, Nikhila Sankar, Luthuf, Kishore, Shravnitha Srikanth, Siddharth Babu, Pramodini, Namritha, and Raj Ayyappa. Chidambaram has worked as an associate with filmmaker Suresh Krissna in the spiritual anthology film Anantha.

Chidambaram has been associated with JioHotstar for a long time, as he has directed Uppu Puli Kaaram, starring Ponvannan, Vanitha Krishnachandran, Naveen Muralidhar, Ayesha Zeenath, Deepika Venkatachalam, Raj Ayyappa, and Farina Azad; and Police Police, starring Senthil Kumar, Shabana Shajahan, Sujitha, Vadivukkarasi, Deepa Shankar, Deepak Dinkar, and Myna Nandhini.

With the release announcement yet to be made, the series' technical crew comprises cinematographer Manikandan Ramamoorthy and art director Vasu Dhevan.

Brothers and Sisters joins JioHotstar's slate of long-form series, such as Heart Beat, Office, LBW—Love Beyond Wicket, Resort, and more. Meanwhile, Bose Venkat was last seen in Indian Penal Law. He will next be seen in Chellamada Nee Enakku.
