Actor Yogi Babu, who was recently seen in Vignesh Shivan-Pradeep Ranganathan's Love Insurance Kompany (LIK), has shared about his upcoming film Jailer 2, led by Rajinikanth.

During an award function hosted by the YouTube channel Behindwoods, Yogi Babu said that while the first part was a hit, the second one is going to be a "mega hit". He went on to praise the filmmaker Nelson. He said, "Nelson has taken the film to another level. Jailer 2 will be an even bigger film than the first part."

In addition to LIK, Yogi Babu was also seen headlining Kenatha Kanom. He will also be starring in the upcoming films Karuppu, An Ordinary Man, and Sannidhanam PO.

The first film, made in 2023, follows an honest cop (Vasanth Ravi) who is after an idol smuggling syndicate. His father, Tiger Muthuvel Pandian (Rajinikanth), who kept himself busy with the grandfather duties, is forced to re-embrace his past as the most feared Jailer once his son is killed while fighting the gang. Muthuvel takes all the help he could get from his 'old friends' to get even with the idol trafficking syndicate.
