Actors Manju Warrier and Athulya Ravi play supporting roles in the recently released film Mr X, directed by Manu Anand and starring Arya in the lead role. Mr X hit theatres in Kerala today, and the actors are actively promoting the film through social media.
Meanwhile, Athulya recently spoke about meeting Manju on the set of the film for the first time. Speaking to Rednool, Athulya said, "The moment we met for the first time, ma'am said, 'You look like Kajal Aggarwal. Has someone ever told this to you?'" The actor said that Manju Warrier never made a formal introduction with her and made her feel comfortable right from the get-go. "Everyone knows that she is talented, strong-willed, and is very inspiring. However, I learnt from her how to treat others at a personal level," Athulya added.
Manju Warrier responded to Athulya Ravi's compliments through her Instagram Stories space. The actor wrote, "You're a gorgeous soul Athulya," Manju wrote. Athulya once again expressed her admiration for her Mr X co-star. "Thank you Manju Warrier ma'am for the overwhelming love you have showered upon me," Athulya wrote.
Mr X marks Athulya's third back-to-back release in Tamil. Last year, she starred in films such as Chennai City Gangsters and Diesel. On the other hand, the film stars Manju Warrier in a role that requires her to do some action as well. The actor is known for her powerful female characters in Malayalam cinema. She has done similar roles in Tamil cinema as well, with films such as Asuran and Viduthalai Part 2. The actor has also done an action-oriented role in Thunivu, starring Ajith Kumar in the lead role. Mr X sees her operating in a space that is similar to Thunivu.
