Actor Priyanka Mohan recently attended the President's banquet at the Rashtrapati Bhavan organised for Lee Jae-myung, the President of South Korea. Priyanka shared pictures from the event on Tuesday and wrote, "An absolutely surreal evening at Rashtrapati Bhavan Honoured to have attended a dinner hosted by Hon’ble President Smt. Droupadi Murmu ji, in the gracious presence of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and President of South Korea Lee Jae Myung sir."
Responding to the actor's post, Simran wrote, "Congratulations Priyanka Mohan. Keep shining on bigger global stages."
Priyanka also expressed her gratitude for being part of the event. "Truly grateful to be among such distinguished dignitaries and for the opportunity to interact with them. Deeply honoured to have had the opportunity to sit down and share a meal with such esteemed leaders. Overwhelmed by their appreciation for our film Made in Korea. It was wonderful meeting Shashi Tharoor ji and sharing a thoughtful conversation."
The actor added, "The little girl in me feels a deep sense of accomplishment today A moment that quietly reflects years of dreams, hard work, and belief. Moments like these remind me why we do what we do—storytelling that connects across cultures A memory I will cherish forever. Heartfelt thanks to the entire team of Made in Korea for making this journey so special."
Made in Korea marked Priyanka's comeback to Tamil cinema in an important role after a brief gap. While she played a cameo in last year's Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam song 'Golden Sparrow,' her previous important role in Tamil cinema came in 2023's Captain Miller.
Priyanka Mohan's upcoming films include a project with Kavin and Sandy and the Kannada film 666 Operation Dream Theater.
