Filmmaker Venkat Prabhu was expected to collaborate with Sivakarthikeyan for his next. Reports also surfaced that the actor and the filmmaker headed to Los Angeles for a look test.

Speculations have surfaced that the project is getting delayed as Sivakarthikeyan is apparently busy with Seyon. According to the YouTube channel Touring Talkies, Venkat Prabhu has planned to direct a quick project in the meantime, with Pradeep Ranganathan playing the lead. The video stated that Venkat Prabhu will pitch the story to Pradeep soon.

The future of the Sivakarthikeyan film is not known yet. The clarity whether the film is on hold or has been dropped is yet to be made.

Venkat Prabhu last made The Greatest Of All Time (GOAT), starring Vijay, Sneha, Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Jayaram, Mohan, Yogi Babu, and Premji Amaren. Pradeep Ranganathan, meanwhile, was recently seen in Vignesh Shivan's sci-fi rom-com Love Insurance Kompany (LIK).
