Archana Ravichandran is VAO Podhum Ponnu in Lenin Pandiyan

The makers of the film dropped a poster giving a first look at Archana Ravichandran's character

Earlier this Saturday, the makers of Lenin Pandiyan, written and directed by debutant DD Balachandran, announced that Archana Ravichandran plays a character named VAO Podhum Ponnu in the movie. The makers made the announcement with a poster that gives a first look at Archana's character in the film. The makers described Archana's character as being someone with "authority" who is "fearless" and "rebellious". Her casting was confirmed in August last year itself. She stars in the film alongside lead actors Gangai Amaran, Sivaji Ganesan’s grandson, debutant Dhaarshan Ganesan, and Shrita Rao.

Lenin Pandiyan is produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan under their Sathya Jyothi Films banner and is presented by TG Thyagarajan.

On the technical front, it has composer Ilaiyaraaja, cinematographer AM Edwin Sakay, editor Nagooran Ramachandran, and art director Athuuri Jeykumaar.

Dhaarshan Ganesan plays the role of a cop in the film, whereas Gangai Amaran appears to be portraying a farmer in it. The makers are yet to reveal further details about the film's story, additional cast members, and release date. While Balachandran revealed last August that the film would hit cinemas soon, it is yet to release in theatres.

Known for titles such as Raja Rani Season 2, Bigg Boss Tamil, and Demonte Colony 2, Archana Ravichandran's upcoming movies also include Demonte Colony 3 and Magenta.
