Pradeep Ranganathan, who was last seen in Keerthiswaran's hit film Dude, is reportedly joining hands with noted Telugu filmmaker Chandra Sekhar Yeleti for a film in the language for the first time. He has previously witnessed back-to-back successes in the Telugu states with Love Today, Dragon and Dude, which made the actor-director popular among audiences in the language. If rumours are to be true, the upcoming collaboration will mark his first full-fledged film in Telugu with the filmmaker best known for his commercial entertainers like Aithe, Anukokunda Oka Roju, Sahasam and Manamantha.
While a confirmation on this is yet to arrive from the makers, speculations are also rife that the upcoming film will be an action thriller backed by Mythri Movie Makers, who had also backed his latest entertainer Dude and major Tamil and Telugu hits like Pushpa 2, Good Bad Ugly, Ustaad Bhagat Singh and upcoming films like Ranabaali, Soori 07 and Allu Arjun's AA23
Pradeep Ranganathan is currently awaiting the release of Vignesh Shivan's much-anticipated sci-fi romantic drama Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) which hits theatres on April 10 after significant delays.
Apart from Pradeep, SJ Suryah and Krithi Shetty also star in lead roles in LIK. The cast for the film also includes Gouri Kishan, Yogi Babu, Seeman, Shah Ra, Malavika, Mysskin, Anandaraj and Sunil Reddy, among others. The film is set in 2040 where a company dares to insure love in a world where anything and everything can be insured. A man's app predicts the future of a relationship by calculating risks and even controls them. Until he experiences love for himself, the voice behind it thinks it's just data.
