Recently, we reported about Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Kishore, and Raj B Shetty starring in director Thiagarajan Kumararaja's third film, titled Pocket Novel. Earlier this Thursday, Malavika took to social media to reflect on the month that has gone by.

While she called March "a mixed bag" for her, the actor described working on Pocket Novel with director Thiagarajan Kumararaja as her "biggest highlight" of the month. "Unarguably, one of the finest filmmakers of our generation. Watching his process, being guided and shaped by him, has been one of the most special creative experiences in my career so far," Malavika Mohanan wrote about the collaboration with the filmmaker, known for titles such as Aaranya Kaandam and Super Deluxe. The actor also promised to share more details about her experience working with the filmmaker later.

At the same time, she said that because of her filming commitments related to Pocket Novel, she found herself grappling with loneliness. "I spent most of the month in Chennai for the shoot. And while the work itself was incredible, being away from home for so long hit me harder than I expected. Coming back to an empty room after a long day doesn’t get easier, even though one would think it gets easier the more you do it. I found myself really grappling with loneliness this time," she wrote.

The actor added that her family came to her in Chennai and brought some comfort for her. "When my family came to visit for a couple of days, it was like a respite for my spirit. We wandered through some beautiful temples in Chennai and Mahabalipuram, tried all sorts of local food, and it felt so good just to be with them. Especially since my grandmother visited as well, which she rarely does," she said.

Coming back to Pocket Novel, the film reunites Thiagarajan Kumararaja with his Super Deluxe star Vijay Sethupathi.
