Prakash Raj calls out Narendra Modi's comparison between Operation Sindoor and India's Asia Cup Final win

This is not the first time Prakash has called out the PM

Earlier, we reported about Scam 1992 star Shreya Dhanwanthary calling out Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his comparison of India's win over Pakistan in yesterday's Asia Cup Final with Operation Sindoor. Shreya called it a "tone deaf" perspective from the country's PM. Some more film personalities also weighed in on the matter to criticise the prime minister. For example, Prakash Raj quote-tweeted Modi's post and rhetorically said that victory in war does not mean the same as winning a cricket match. "So War was also a Game???" wrote Prakash, also known for his political commentary.

This is not the first time Prakash has called out the PM. At the recent Wayanad Literature Festival, for example, he described Modi as a "leader without a vision" and criticised his alleged lack of action in relation to the Manipur situation. "If Manipur were in another country, he would have visited. But because it’s in our country, he doesn’t want to go," said Prakash at the time.

Prakash has also expressed his reservations with Vijay's decision to quit cinema to foray into politics, questioning whether he has the necessary understanding of the complex issues that the public faces. Interestingly, the actor is set to reunite with his Ghilli co-star Vijay in the latter's final film Jana Nayagan.
