The Game Trailer: Shraddha Srinath is stuck in a tense situation as reel dangers turns real

We had previously reported that actor Shraddha Srinath is headlining the upcoming Netflix series The Game along with Santhosh Prathap. The trailer of the series was unveiled by the streamer on Thursday.

Shraddha plays a game designer who strives to achieve excellence in her field. Her partner Santhosh Prathap is also a successful game designer who earns accolades for creating 'Mask Mayhem'. Shraddha too creates an award-winning game that becomes instantly popular among public. But soon, she starts experiencing sinister events around her. Coupled with incessent trolling and face morphing by unknown individuals, her life is put in grave danger to the point where she is assaulted one night. After the event, she realises that every choice she makes suddenly has real-life consequences and nothing is no longer what it seems.

Directed by Rajesh M Selva, The Game has been written by Deepthi Govindarajan, and co-written by Selva and Karthik Bala. Touted as a character-driven thriller, the film delves into the "hidden costs of living in a hyper-connected world."

The series also stars Chandini, Syama Harini, Bala Hasan, Subash Selvam, Viviya Santh, Dheeraj, and Hema, in supporting roles.

Slated for release on October 2, The Game is the streamer's first Tamil series of 2025 and is made in collaboration with Applause Entertainment.

Shraddha Srinath, who was last seen in Kaliyugam, also has Ravi Mohan's Bro Code which is in production.
