Anirudh on his Kalaimamani award win: The honour is not just mine

Anirudh was announced as one of the recipients of the Kalaimamani award by the Tamil Nadu Government, for 2023

Music composer Anirudh was announced as one of the winners of the Kalaimamani award, on September 24. The composer subsequently took to social media to express his gratitude.

Writing on his X handle, Anirudh said, "I am humble to be conferred with the prestigious Kalaimamani award by our state. My sincere thanks to the Tamil Nadu Government, our Honourable Chief Minister Thiru M K Stalin avl, Deputy Chief Minister Thiru Udhayanidhi Stalin avl, and Iyal Isai Nadaga Sangam for this recognition."

Anirudh also thanked his collaborators by saying, "A big thank you to all my directors, producers, singers, lyricists, and my entire Albuqurque records team and most importantly my beloved fans and music lovers for their constant love and support. "

He ended the note by saying, "This honour is not just mine, but ours. Grateful, always."

Besides Anirudh, actor Manikandan, director Lingusamy, SJ Suryah, Sai Pallavi, were amongst the recipients of the award.
