Actor Sunainaa responded to a X user, after they had made a post that mentioned that actor Anushka Shetty's career was ruined after Inji Iduppazhagi. The film, which was released in 2015, followed the story of an overweight woman who pursues her crush, braving various hurdles.

Taking to X Sunainaa replied, "Respectfully, I think it’s important to look at this differently. Actors are meant to experiment. While it may have slowed things down, it doesn’t ruin anything. It might have affected the so called “desirability factor” because the film didn’t do well, but the talent is still very much there."

She added, "Sometimes it helps to look beyond how the system typically works :) broaden the way you think about artistry. Anushka was amazing before… and still is amazing after."

Sunainaa was recently seen in Sekhar Kammula's Kuberaa. She essayed the role of Shilpa, the wife of Nagarjuna's character, Deepak. The film which starred Dhanush in the lead, was released on June 20. Jim Sarbh was the antagonist of the film, with Rashmika Mandanna playing a pivotal role.

Meanwhile, Anushka was recently seen in Ghaati, which was directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. The film reunited Anushka and Krish after Vaanam (2011), a remake of Krish's own Vedam (2010). She will be seen next in Kathanar: The Wild Sorcerer alongside Jayasurya.
