Ravi K Chandran's next venture as a director is USA v Raj, a biographical drama, reported Variety. Kabir Bedi, who is known for his roles in Octopussy, Mohenjo Daro, and Sandokan, leads the cast of USA v Raj.

Based on Dr Raj Bothra and Jennifer DeBellis' novel USA v/s Raj, the film will chronice the life of Indian American Dr Bothra, as he faced over 54 charges by the US Federal Government, from which he was acquitted in 2022.

With Kabir Bedi as Dr Bothra, USA v Raj also includes Emily Shah as Sonia Bothra, Dr Bothra's daughter, with the rest of the cast details yet to be revealed.

USA v Raj is produced by Prashant Shah, with Sunny Vohra and Suparna Sethi serving as executive producers. The film is backed by Bollywood Hollywood Productions and Twickenham Productions. Resul Pookutty, who won the Oscar for Sound Design for Slumdog Millionaire, is also part of the crew of the film.
