The makers of Carmeni Selvam have released the teaser for the film. The upcoming film stars Samuthirakani and Gautham Vasudev Menon in the lead.

Written and directed by Ram Chakri, Carmeni Selvam is produced by Arun Rangarajulu, with Sree Saravanan as a creative producer. Pathway Productions is the banner backing the film. The film is set to have a Diwali release.

The cast for the film also includes Lakshmi Priya, Abhinaya, Karthik Kumar, Badava Gopi, Madhumitha, Arjunan, Sankara Narayan V, Haritha Parakod, Kothandam, and Karan Chakravarthi.

Music for the film is credited to Musicloud Studio and Technologies. The technical crew for the film includes Yuvraj Dakshan as the director of photography, Jagan RV and Dinesh S as the editors, and Shankar as the production designer.

Meanwhile, the release of Samuthirakani's upcoming film, Kaantha, was postponed. The film was set to release on September 12. Samuthirakani will also be seen in Dhanush's Idli Kadai, which is set to release on October 10.0
