Axess Film Factory, the production banner behind Tamil films such as Raatchasan, Oh My Kadavuley, Marakadha Naanayam, and Bachelor, unveiled the motion poster of Munishkanth and Vijayalakshmi Ahathian's Middle Class. The film will be helmed by debutant director Kishore Muthuramalingam.

It is to be noted that Middle Class went on floors in mid-2022. Back then, it was announced that Radha Ravi, Malavika Avinash, Vadivel Murugan, Kuraishi, and Vela Ramamoorthy are also a part of the film's cast. Initially, the film was set to be bankrolled by KJR Studios in association with Doss Ramasamy's Koustubh Entertainment.

In a previous conversation with CE, director Kishore said, "The middle-class family backdrop is usually used for love stories and action films. It's been a long time since we saw a Tamil film on the life of people in the middle-class, which we often see in Malayalam films. Middle Class will be the story of a family that lives in a quarters. The second half will have the family searching for something, so a huge portion of the film will be comically thrilling."

On the technical front, the film will feature cinematography by Sudarshan Srinivasan, editing by San Lokesh, and music composed by Pranav Muniraj. More details about the film's plot and release date are yet to be disclosed by the makers. The film will hit theatres in 2025.

Meanwhile, Munishkanth has had a slew of releases this year, including Perusu, Gangers, Padai Thalaivan, Jenma Natchathiram, and Surrender. Vijayalakshmi, on the other hand, was last seen in Ravi Mohan's Iraivan, in 2023.
