The makers of director Athiyan Athirai's Thandakaaranyam, starring Kalaiyarasan and Dinesh, dropped the single 'Kaava Kaade' on Wednesday.

The emotionally powerful number captures the pain of separation between the male and female leads. Their relationship is on the tenterhooks as the male lead is serving in the army, apparently against the interests of the tribal community to which the female belongs.

'Kaava Kaade', composed by Justin Prabhakaran, is written by Uma Devi and sung by Arivu and Reema.

The ensemble cast of Thandakaaranyam features Riythvika, Vinsu Sam, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Muthukumar, Aruldoss, Saranya Ravichandran, and Bala Saravanan.

Behind the camera, Justin Prabhakaran scores the music, with lyrics penned by Umadevi and Thanikodi. Pratheep Kaliraja serves as the cinematographer, Selva RK handles editing, and T Ramalingam is in charge of art direction. Stunner Sam and AS Sudeshkumar choreograph stunts.

The film is releasing in theatres on September 19.
