Vishnu Vishal is coming back to the big screen as a police officer, pursuing a serial killer, in first-time director Praveen K's upcoming film Aaryan. With the film set to hit theatres on October 31, Friday, the actor took to social media to request the audience who will watch it not to give away any element that spoils its plot for the rest. Interestingly, the film's makers have already revealed that Selvaraghavan plays a serial killer in it and claimed that this information would not spoil it for anyone. Even the film's trailer has Selvaraghavan's character.
According to the makers, the audience's awareness of the killer's identity plays a part in differentiating Aaryan from other films in the genre. Perhaps, it would make the audience focus on its procedural angle and psychological aspects rather than the conventional big reveal at the end.
"This is not a usual film, and it will break new ground in the genre," Vishnu said in his recent interview with CE. Earlier, he also described Selvaraghavan's character in the film as its 'highlight'.
Aaryan also stars Maanasa Choudhary and Shraddha Srinath in important roles. Besides Tamil, the film is set to have a release in Telugu as well, although a week later on November 07, in theatres.
