YouTuber Harshath Khan, who was seen as 'kutty dragon' in Ashwath Marimuthu-Pradeep Ranganathan's Dragon, is gearing up for the release of his next, Aaromaley, co-starring Kishen Das. In a recent promotional interview for the film, the actor revealed that Silambarasan TR made a personal phone call to him to appreciate his performance in Dragon after the film's release.
Speaking to Radio Mirchi, the actor recounted the day he received the call. "I was shooting for Aaromaley when I received the call from him. I asked director Sarang and Kishen for a five-minute break to attend the call, but they initially didn't believe it. I remember them saying, 'Don't play with us; he has a lot of other work to do,' when I told them STR had called me," he recalled.
It took Harshath some time to believe that he had received a call from a senior actor. "I couldn't believe it was him who called me. I have only heard his unique voice in films. It was surreal to hear it in real life. I even wondered if some mimicry artists were pranking by posing as the actor. I then pinched myself to understand that it was reality," he shared.
Further, he detailed what Silambarasan said in the short conversation. "He then praised me, saying that he watched Dragon even before release but waited for the release so I wouldn't be overconfident. Usually, people only compliment in a generic way. But Silambarasan notices nuances. He pointed out specific dialogues and aspects of my performance and appreciated me," Harshath said, to which Sarang Thiagu, director of Aaromaley, added, "Yes, even while speaking to us about my film, he specifically mentioned a frame, which even I forgot."
Aaromaley, also starring Shivathmika, marks the directorial debut of Sarang. The film is gearing up for release on November 7. Harshath, meanwhile, is also expected to be a part of VJ Siddhu's directorial debut, Dayangaram, which recently went on floors.
