Vishnu Vishal has teamed up with director Praveen K for his next film, Aaryan. The film also reunites Vishnu with his FIR director Manu Anand, who is credited as its additional screenwriter. Vishnu spoke about his co-star Selvaraghavan's contributions to the film at a recent event. He said that Selvaraghavan's character is the "pillar of the film," just like how the heroine (Aishwarya Lekshmi) is the highlight in Gatta Kushti. Vishnu also mentioned Selvaraghavan the director as a source of inspiration for him. "The passion, determination, and focus have come after we have grown up seeing your movies. The kind of effort you have put in for each film is still with me."

Vishnu highlighted the special part that Selvaraghan played in the latter's brother Dhanush's career. He said that Dhanush has reached where he is today because of Selvaraghavan's great effort behind it. Notably, Selvaraghavan directed many of Dhanush's films, including his first two films, Thulluvadho Ilamai and Kaadhal Kondein.

"I have huge respect for Dhanush sir. I think I have told this to Dhanush sir also. The kind of effort that you and your family have put in Tamil cinema, if I put 5 to 10 per cent of that I think I would be a winner," said the Aaryan star.

Also starring Shraddha Srinath and Maanasa Choudhary in key roles, Aaryan is slated for an October 31 release.
