As director Mari Selvaraj's film Bison Kaalamaadan enjoys a successful run in theaters, the cinematographer Ezhil Arasan has written a thank-you note on Thursday.

With behind-the-scenes images from the movie, the DOP wrote that Bison will always stay close to his heart, not just for what it became but for what it taught him. Thanking Mari, Ezhil wrote, "Grateful beyond words to Mari for trusting me to translate his vision into light and frame." Calling Bison an incredible experience with Mari, Ezhil added that this journey was more than a film, "It's an emotion, a learning, and a celebration of truth through cinema," he wrote.

The positive word-of-mouth surrounding the film has led to a consistent increase in box office collections, even though the opening day numbers were not extraordinary.

Produced by Pa Ranjith and Aditi Anand under Neelam Studios in association with Applause Entertainment, Bison also features Anupama Parameshwaran, Lal, Ameer, Pasupathi, and Rajisha Vijayan.

The rest of the technical crew comprises Sakthi Thiru as the editor, Nivas K Prasanna as the music composer Kumar Gangappan as the art director, and Dhilip Subbarayan as the action choreographer.
