With an overwhelmingly positive response from critics and audiences, filmmaker Mari Selvaraj's Bison Kaalamaadan, starring Dhruv, has set box office records both locally and globally.

The filmmakers have announced that the Tamil version of the film has grossed over Rs 35 crore globally within five days. Mari Selvaraj also announced, along with the box office update, that the Telugu version of the film will be released soon.

In India, the film has earned over Rs 22 crore, despite a slow start with an opening day collection of Rs 2.7 crore. The film's earnings began to increase gradually over consecutive days, thanks to positive word-of-mouth.

Our CE review of the film read, "Bison is Mari Selvaraj’s most violent to date, and it is beautiful how the gore and bloodshed aren’t at the hands of the protagonist but everywhere around him. It is a terrific exploration of the aftermath of violence and its unsettling consequences in the minds of the young and easily influenced."

Produced by Pa Ranjith and Aditi Anand under Neelam Studios in association with Applause Entertainment, Bison also features Anupama Parameshwaran, Lal, Ameer, Pasupathi, and Rajisha Vijayan.

The technical crew of the film includes Ezhil Arasu K as the cinematographer, Sakthi Thiru as the editor, Kumar Gangappan as the art director, and Dhilip Subbarayan as the action choreographer.
