Kishore to headline IPL

While the makers are tight-lipped about the plot, the first look suggests that the film explores the custodial deaths

Days after it was announced that actor Kishore will headline filmmaker Dhirav's Mellisai, the Vada Chennai actor will lead a new film, IPL (Indian Penal Law).

Debutant Karunanithi is directing IPL. The film also stars Abhirami, Harish Perady, and TTF Vasan in prominent roles. The film also stars Bose Venkat and Dileepan.

Produced by GR Madhan Krishnan of Radha Film International, IPL has music by Ashwin Vinayagamoorthy, cinematography by Pitchumani, editing by Prakash Mabbu, art direction by Vengal Ravi, and stunts by Dinesh Subbarayan.

Kishore had a busy year in several languages so far, with Salman Khan-Murugadoss' Sikandar (Hindi), Mohanlal-Prithviraj's L2: Empuraan (Malayalam), and Sagar Kumar's Anamadheya Ashok Kumar (Kannada).
