The makers of the upcoming film Mask have announced that the digital rights for the film have been acquired by Zee 5. Director Vetri Maaran serves as a mentor for the film.

Mask is written and directed by Vikarnan Ashok. Andrea also produces the film alongside SP Chockalingam. Black Madras Films and The Show Must Go On are the banners backing the film. Vetri Maaran was earlier on board as the producer for the film under his Grass Roots Film Company banner, until he announced its closure.

In the film Kavin stars as Velu, a private detective, alongside Ruhani Sharma as Rathi. The details of Andrea's character are yet to be revealed.

GV Prakash Kumar is composing music for Mask. Recently the first single from the film 'Kannumuzhi' was released, which features vocals from Anthony Dasan and Sublashini, from lyrics by Karumathur Manimaran.

RD Rajasekhar is part of the technical crew as the cinematographer, alongside R Ramar as the editor, Jacki and M Vijay Iyyappan as the art directors, and Peter Hein handling stunts.
