Singapore Police celebrate Diwali the Jana Nayagan style

The Singapore Police department is no less up-to-date about the current Kollywood pop-culture references when compared to film lovers when it comes to pop-culture references.

The Singapore cops posted recently where they are seen making a reel themed on Vijay's upcoming film Jana Nayagan. Notably, the actor-politician is playing a cop in the H Vinoth directorial.

The Singapore Police Department also did a reel on the Powerhouse theme music of Rajinikanth's recent film Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The reel was a sensational hit on social media.

With a sizeable Tamil diaspora, Malaysia and Singapore also celebrate festivals such as Diwali and Thai Poosam with fervour.

Jana Nayagan also stars Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Priyamani, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mamitha Baiju, and Narain. The film reunites Vijay with Prakash Raj after Varisu and Gautham Vasudev Menon after Leo.

Jana Nayagan is produced by Venkat K Narayana and co-produced by Lohith N K and Jagadish Palanisamy. The film will be released in theatres on January 9, 2026, for the Pongal festival season.
