The makers of Suriya's upcoming film Karuppu dropped the promo of the first single titled 'God Mode' on Sunday. The number looks to be a kuthu in the village festival.

The song will be out tomorrow, coinciding with the Diwali festival. The lyrics of 'God Mode' is penned by Vishnu Edavan. The 'Verappa' theme from the teaser glimpse was a hit and the film's music compose Sai Abhyankkar, popular for his indie chartbusters, was praised for his tunes meeting the commercial expectations.

Directed by RJ Balaji, the film features Trisha as the female lead, reuniting her with her Aaru (2005) co-star Suriya. The supporting cast includes Yogi Babu, acclaimed Malayalam actor Indrans, Sshivada, Lubber Pandhu fame Swasika, Natty, Supreeth Reddy, and Anagha Maya Ravi.

Karuppu's technical crew also features cinematography by GK Vishnu, editing by Kalaivanan, art direction by Arun Venjaramoodu, and stunt choreography by Vikram Mor. The project also marks a reunion for Suriya with his NGK producers, as well as RJ Balaji with his Sorgavaasal makers — SR Prabhu and SR Prakash Babu of Dream Warrior Pictures.
