Mari Selvaraj's sports drama Bison, starring Dhruv Vikram and Anupama Parameswaran, has finally hit theatres. Part of the star-studded ensemble is Rajisha Vijayan. However, the actor has not dubbed for her character in the film. The dubbing artist who lend her voice to the character, played by Rajisha, is Raveena Ravi. The daughter of dubbing artist and actor Sreeja Ravi, Raveena took to her Instagram Stories to thank Mari Selvaraj for providing her with the opportunity to dub for Rajisha in the film and said that she is "super happy" about it. She also asked the audience to "watch this beautiful film in theatres."
Interestingly, Raveena Ravi played a role opposite Fahadh Faasil in Mari Selvaraj's previous film Maamannan. Ironically, she did not have any dialogues to speak in the 2023 film, also starring Vadivelu and Udhayanidhi Stalin in important roles. At the time, she said that it was "a blessing to be part of such a stellar cast and a brilliant crew."
Raveena has also lend her voice to Athulya Ravi's character in Diesel, the other big Diwali release this year. "Super happy to be part of Shanmugam Muthusamy sir's Diesel too!" wrote the actor cum dubbing artist. She went on to highlight her unique feat of having two back-to-back releases on the festival occasion. "Please do watch (the film) in theatres and support!" Raveena wrote about Diesel.
