Santhosh Narayanan has announced that he has collaborated with Ed Sheeran, Hanumankind, and Dhee for a new song. This will mark the composer's first international collaboration. Santhosh has previously produced independent tracks like, 'Neeye Oli' and 'Enjoy Enjaami'.
Dhee, Santhosh's daughter, has sung for multiple songs composed by Santhosh including 'Enjoy Enjaami', 'Maamadura', 'Chamkeela Angeleesi', and 'Ey Sandakara', amongst others. Dhee also sung for 'Mutha Mazhai', which was composed for AR Rahman for Thug Life. The film was directed by Mani Ratnam and starred Kamal Haasan in the lead.
Ed Sheeran is continuing his collaborations with Indian artists. He collaborated with Arijit Singh for 'Sapphire'. Sheeran also performed with AR Rahman at his concert in Chennai. Sheeran and Rahman performed a mix of 'Shape of You' and 'Urvashi Urvashi'. Sheeran is also creating a music experience ONE SHOT with Ed Sheeran, which is directed by Philip Barantini, the director of Adolescence.
Hanumankind found worldwide recognition with his single 'Big Dawgs' which later led him to perform the song internationally alongside artists like Travis Scott. He also made his acting debut with Aashiq Abu's Rifle Club, where he starred as the entitled son of a gangster.
