The makers of Dude has revealed that the trailer for the film will release on October 9. Starring Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead, the film is set to release on October 17.

Written and directed by Keerthiswaran, the film is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar, with Anil Yerneni serving as the co-producer. Mythri Movie Makers is the banner backing the film.

With Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) postponing its release, Dude is the only film starring Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead to release on October 17. The makers of LIK announced that the film will release on December 18. Along with Dude the films releasing on October 17 are Mari Selvaraj's Bison Kaalamaadan, the Harish Kalyan-starrer Diesel, and Carmeni Selvam.

Apart from the Pradeep Ranganathan the cast for the film includes Mamitha Baiju, R Sarath Kumar, Hridhu Haroon, Rohini, Aishwarya sharma, Dravid Selvam.

Sai Abhyankkar makes his Tamil cinema debut with Dude. The rest of the crew of the film includes Niketh Bommi as the cinematographer, Barath Vikraman as the editor, Latha Naidu as the production designers, and Yannick Ben and Dinesh Subbarayan as the stunt choreographers.
