Music composer AR Rahman took to social media to share his thoughts about the rising influence and evolution of artificial intelligence. The composer also quoted director James Cameron regarding this.
Taking to his X handle, AR Rahman wrote, "James Cameron says his 1980s sci-fi is becoming reality. AI, super-intelligence, and generative tech are no longer fiction. Important reminder: tools are evolving fast but the soul of storytelling must remain human."
Cameron was speaking to the Australian news broadcaster, ABC, where he said, "In the future, it maybe possible for people to finish jobs, without artists. I am so not interested in that. I think we need to put massive guardrails on this technology, and I think it needs to be done by Hollywood internally."
Cameron's third entrant in the Avatar series, Avatar: Fire and Ash, is set to release theatrically on December 19. Meanwhile, AR Rahman is composing music for Hansal Mehta's biographical series, Gandhi, which stars Pratiek Gandhi as Mahatma Gandhi.
