The makers of actor Ravi Mohan's upcoming film Genie have dropped the first single 'Abdi Abdi' on Tuesday.

The sizzling dance number features the male lead along with the leading ladies, Krithi Shetty and Kalyani Priyadarshan. The song, composed by AR Rahman, is penned by Mashook Rahman and sung by Maysaa Karaa and Deepthi Suresh, with rap from Freek. This is Rahman's fourth collaboration with Ravi Mohan after Ponniyin Selvan, Ponniyin Selvan 2, and Kadhalikka Neramillai.

Though 'Abdi Abdi' doesn't give away much about the movie, here, Ravi Mohan's genie character, unlike other genies, does not take orders but gives orders. The number carried a lot of expectations after the hit 'Yennai Izhukkuthadi' in the Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi directorial.

The film also stars Devayani and Wamiqa Gabbi, among others.

Produced by Ishari K Ganesh of Vels Film International, Genie is directed by Arjunan Jr. The rest of the technical crew includes cinematographer Mahesh Muthuswami, editor Pradeep E Ragav, art director Mayapandi V, and stunt director Yannick Ben.

The film is yet to get a release date.
