There have been two-year gaps between Shraddha Srinath's films in Tamil cinema across her career ever since her debut with 2015's Malayalam film Kohinoor. Meanwhile, she has had projects in Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam as well. The actor, who plays a key role in the latest Netflix series The Game, addressed the gap between her projects in a recent interview with CE. She said, "People ask me (about it). This is the reality of my life. If I had a chance, I would do films in only one language or establish myself in one industry in a way that I never go out of people's minds. But I cannot also keep waiting, and therefore we make the best (films)." She went on to say that the positive aspect of working in multiple industries is that it allows her to pick and choose between projects. "If I depend only on Tamil, I would have to do films that I do not want to do or be without work for a long time. So as an actor, I look it as 'I have the best of five worlds', with so many languages and a stream of projects to pick from.

In the interview, Shraddha Srinath also acknowledged that she is going against conventions by working this way. "If you look at it strategically, people would not recommend it. They would be like, 'Stick to one industry,' but this is what I choose to do."

Marking Shraddha Srinath's digital debut, The Game has been streaming on Netflix since October 02, Gandhi Jayanti. Beyond The Game, Shraddha also has a key role in writer-director Karthik Yogi's Bro Code, also starring Ravi Mohan, SJ Suryah, and Arjun Ashokan. The actor's upcoming films also include Aaryan, where she stars alongside Vishnu Vishal.
