Actor Shraddha Srinath can currently be seen as the creator of a video game in Rajesh M Selva's Netflix thriller series, The Game: You Never Play Alone. In a recent exclusive conversation with Cinema Express, the actor spoke about the similarities and differences she shared with her character Kavya in the series.

On similarities, she said, "Kavya and I share very similar progressive thoughts when it comes to equal rights at home between partners. Like me, she can call out patriarchy without hesitation. She’s frank, straightforward, and doesn’t bother with diplomacy."

But they're also worlds apart in a few ways. "What sets us apart, though, is that Kavya can be quite reckless. She’s like that curious character in a horror film who makes questionable choices and ends up in trouble. But in her case, the circumstances demand it. At the same time, she’s fiercely independent and knows how to set boundaries, whether in her personal life or at work, and that’s something I truly admire about her," she explains.

Backed by Applause Entertainment, The Game also stars Santhosh Prathap, Chandini, Syama Harini, Bala Hasan, Subash Selvam, Viviya Santh, Dheeraj, and Hema. The series marks Shraddha Srinath's streaming debut. Touted as a character-driven thriller, the series delves into the "hidden costs of living in a hyper-connected world". The series has been written by Deepthi Govindarajan and co-written by Selva and Karthik Bala.

In the series, Shraddha plays a game designer who strives to achieve excellence in her field. Her partner, Santhosh Prathap, is also a successful game designer who earns accolades for creating 'Mask Mayhem'. Shraddha too creates an award-winning game that becomes instantly popular among the public. But soon, she starts experiencing sinister events around her.
